Internship Opportunities

The Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation's internship programs gives college students practical, hands-on experience that helps them apply classroom learning to real-world situations and helps builds valuable professional networks.

Internships require a 90-hour commitment in Santa Rosa, CA, and must be completed for academic credit. Our internship programs align with college semesters at Sonoma State University and Santa Rosa Junior College, although students attending other schools are encouraged to apply. A participation stipend is included.

Environmental Education Intern, Spring Semester Flyer | Internship Details and Application Instructions The Environmental Education Internship offers students an opportunity to explore environmental education while deepening their knowledge of local ecosystems. Through the Learning Laguna school program and community education events, interns gain hands-on experience in environmental interpretation, youth engagement, and community outreach. Working alongside staff and experienced docents, interns develop practical skills through supervised learning, training, and mentorship. Apply early! Intern selection begins December 14, 2026.
